Christine has over 30 years of local and international commercial experience – having worked in the property industry for most of her career, developing a strong network of contacts. She has spent 15 years working within the field of property in Valuation, Commercial Leasing, Development and Research roles and a further 15 years working within Search and Recruitment industries.
The combined Property and Recruitment experience is a unique offering. You get to work with someone who has proven themselves as not only a property professional but also as a Human Resources people-focused Recruitment and Search professional. The natural next step was for Christine to form a vehicle Arrowtail Search, which gives clients and candidates direct access to locate the best people in the property industry.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Land Economics (Honours) from University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Christine commenced her career in Trainee roles in Property, Research, Valuation and Development before moving into Commercial Leasing in Sydney and North Sydney. In the early 1990s she then relocated to Hong Kong, taking on the role of Commercial Leasing Manager with Colliers International.
Offering leasing and tenant representative advisory services she was then approached to join a Hong Kong based Executive Search practice, focusing on a range of Property, Management Consulting and Human Resources appointments across the Asia Pacific region.
Returning to Australia in the late 1990’s, Christine joined Michael Page International for three years initially as a Consultant, tasked with the start up of their IT/Technology Division, progressing to Manager.
Approached by Ellington Savage in 2000, a boutique generalist Sydney based Executive Search practice she remained a Senior Search Consultant for a period of approximately 8 years undertaking research, execution and business development across Property, Financial Services, and Professional Services.
Taking time out from Recruitment to raise her children, Christine then studied Counselling and Psychology, completing a Graduate Diploma of Counselling (AIPC) and undertaking a Bachelor of Psychology (Charles Sturt University) while working as a Vocational and Career Counsellor.
In 2011, Christine then returned to the property industry retraining and reinstating her Valuation qualifications, and attaining CPV status where she worked as a Senior Valuer for 7 years.
In 2018, with her children leaving school, she joined a generalist recruitment company, undertaking a combination of Search and Recruitment and successfully established a start up Property division.
Having the background and drive to establish business units, she is now focused on running a boutique business that aligns with her values and focuses on her area of speciality.
